Who we are
Stowmere Self Storage rents self storage units from Unit 2, Kelmscott Way, Nene Meadow Trading Estate, Northampton ZZ4 6SR. You can reach us at [email protected] or 01632 960 274.
What we collect
When you reserve a unit or ask a question we collect your name, phone number, email address and anything you tell us about what you plan to store. On move-in day we record your photo ID and proof of address, as the law and our insurers require. The gate records each time your PIN is used.
How we use it
To manage your storage agreement, take payment, contact you about your unit and keep the building secure. If you sign up for our emails, we send four a year with packing tips and seasonal offers.
CCTV
Cameras cover the yard, the loading bay and every corridor for the security of your belongings. Footage is kept for 30 days and shared only with the police when they ask for it.
Who we share it with
Our payment provider, the insurer if you take our contents cover, and our accountants. Nobody else, and we never sell it.
How long we keep it
Account records are kept for six years after your storage ends, for tax purposes. Email sign-ups end the moment you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to the data protection regulator.
